Hope and Encouragement After Loss

A companion for the journey of grief, healing, and quiet resilience.

About Us

H.E.A.L. — Hope and Encouragement After Loss is more than a magazine. It is a companion for the journey of grief, healing, and quiet resilience.

Carefully curated, HEAL Magazine is designed to accompany you during especially challenging moments of the year—family gatherings, Yamim Tovim, anniversaries, and seasonal changes—when loss can feel heavier and more present. With immense gratitude to Hashem, HEAL came to fruition in response to a profound void: the need for chizuk, understanding, and support after the initial shock of loss. Healing requires giving ourselves the time and space to grieve. Loss is not something we move past, but something we learn to live with, slowly finding its place within our lives. Moving forward does not mean erasing what was; it means embracing the challenge, honoring our grief, and learning how to smile again while carrying our loss with us.

Through HEAL, we offer a thoughtfully selected collection of poems, essays, and reflections exploring the many dimensions of loss—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Topics include grief and tears, dreams and faith, pain and hope. These words are meant to comfort, validate, and gently uplift. We invite you to read at your own pace. Please be kind to yourself. May you and your family be blessed with continued joy, strength, and nachas. — Chaya, Gitty, Ettie & Shira
